The tourist infrastructure and its impact on the economic reactivation of the canton Manta

Resumen

Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo “determinar de qué manera la infraestructura turística incide en la reactivación económica del cantón Manta”, en primer lugar, para el levantamiento de datos, relacionados a las variables de estudio, se diseñó una encuesta-constructo (instrumento en la escala normativa de Likert), que admita recabar la información apropiada y confiable de las fuentes correctas (habitantes de Manta), siendo necesaria la validación del instrumento, bajo el coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach, el cual desplegó una fiabilidad de 0,971 interpretándose como “excelente”, según el baremo de medición. En ese mismo orden, empleando el programa estadístico SPSS/25, se efectuaron las correlaciones de las variables (Infraestructura Turística y Reactivación Económica), por medio de coeficiente Rho de Spearman, cuya resultante para la prueba de hipótesis general fue de 0,664, entendiéndose como una correlación “positiva moderada”. Los hallazgos del estudio evidenciaron que la infraestructura turística si incide en la reactivación económica del cantón Manta.

ABSTRACT
The objective of this research was "to determine how the tourist infrastructure affects the economic reactivation of the canton of Manta", firstly, for the collection of data related to the study variables, a survey-construct was designed (instrument in the normative Likert scale), The validation of the instrument was necessary, under Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, which showed a reliability of 0.971 and was interpreted as "excellent", according to the measurement scale. In the same order, using the SPSS/25 statistical program, the correlations of the variables (Tourist Infrastructure and Economic Reactivation) were carried out, by means of Spearman's Rho coefficient, whose result for the general hypothesis test was 0.664, understood as a "moderate positive" correlation. The findings of the study showed that tourism infrastructure does have an impact on the economic reactivation of the canton of Manta.
