Enfoque y alcance

Journal Business Science: Somos una revista científica, académica, on-line de visibilidad internacional editada por la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas de la Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí - Ecuador. Su objetivo es ser un espacio de divulgación científica en el campo amplio de la Administración para los investigadores interesados en divulgar los resultados de sus investigaciones científicas.

Journal Business Science difunde el pensamiento crítico, analítico, reflexivo con ética, profesionalismo y responsabilidad social. Aportando al progreso socioeconómico a nivel local, regional e internacional. Abarcando áreas de las ciencias Administrativas y Económicas.

Focus and Scope

Journal Business Science: We are a scientific, academic, on-line journal of international visibility edited by the School of Administrative Sciences of the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí - Ecuador. Its objective is to be a space for scientific dissemination in the broad field of Management for researchers interested in disseminating the results of their scientific research.

Journal Business Science disseminates critical, analytical, reflective thinking with ethics, professionalism, and social responsibility. Contributing to the socioeconomic progress at local, regional, and international levels. Covering areas of Administrative and Economic Science.

Somos una revista de investigación científica, académica y técnica, que publica investigaciones del campo amplio de la administración, que comunica el pensamiento analítico crítico y reflexivo con ética y responsabilidad social, contribuyendo al progreso socioeconómico a nivel nacional e internacional

Público objetivo

Journal Business Science está dirigida a los docentes, estudiantes, investigadores, gerentes, emprendedores, servidores públicos y profesionales de las ciencias administrativas y económicas, contables, y a los investigadores que aportan a la academia desde el contexto mundial.

Target audience

Journal Business Science is aimed at teachers, students, researchers, managers, entrepreneurs, public servants and professionals in the administrative and economic sciences, accounting, and researchers who contribute to the academy from the global context.

Sistema de arbitraje

EVALUACIÓN PRELIMINAR

El Consejo Editorial se reúne periódicamente para verificar si los documentos son originales e inéditos a través del detector de plagio (URKUND), además si es pertinente con la temática de la revista y cumple con los fundamentos de forma y fondo para una publicación científica (Evaluación preliminar). Una vez realizado el análisis del artículo se procede a informar al autor a través de la plataforma OJS. Si la temática no es pertinente se rechaza o se sugiere a otra revista de las consorciadas con JBS. Si no cumple con las normas editoriales se devuelve al autor para que este haga las correcciones necesarias.

De cumplir con los requisitos establecidos por la revista; el Comité Editorial envía a dos evaluadores especialistas en el área, en calidad de pares Doble Ciego. Conformado un evaluador de la Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí y otro evaluador externo a la entidad editora. Este por lo general es miembro del Comité Científico Internacional.

PRELIMINARY EVALUATION

The Editorial Board meets periodically to verify if the documents are original and unpublished through the plagiarism detector (URKUND), also if it is relevant to the subject of the journal and complies with the fundamentals of form and substance for a scientific publication (Preliminary evaluation). Once the article has been analyzed, the author is informed through the OJS platform. If the subject matter is not pertinent, it is rejected or suggested to another journal of the JBS consortium. If it does not meet the editorial standards, it is returned to the author so that he/she can make the necessary corrections.

If it complies with the requirements established by the journal, the Editorial Committee sends two evaluators specialized in the area, as Double-Blind peers. One evaluator from the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí and another evaluator from outside the publishing entity. The latter is usually a member of the International Scientific Committee.

EVALUACIÓN POR PARES

Posterior a la evaluación preliminar, si el artículo es valorado positivamente ingresa a un proceso de arbitraje bajo el sistema de revisión por pares, en la modalidad Doble Ciego. Los evaluadores son expertos en el área de especialización. En base a los resultados de las evaluaciones del artículo se consideran los siguientes criterios:

No publicable sí coinciden con el criterio de los pares Doble Ciego, en caso de que uno de los evaluadores informe "no publicable" el otro informe "publicable", se procede a buscar un tercer revisor para que proceda a emitir un informe que permita al Comité Editorial la toma de decisiones.
En caso de que el informe de ambos árbitros tenga observaciones se envía al autor o autores a través de la plataforma OJS las correcciones para que un plazo no mayor de 15 días laborales haga los cambios requeridos.
Debe corregirse y se continua con el proceso a fin de verificar si se dio cumplimiento a las observaciones realizadas.
Los resultados del arbitraje serán inapelables.
Si el artículo cumple con las observaciones señaladas es aceptadopara su publicación.
Una vez aceptada su publicación se le hace conocer al autor o autores a través de la página OJS y de correo electrónico. Se procederá a elaborar un acta de aceptación misma que será publicada junto con el artículo en la página principal de la publicación.
Una vez pasado todo es proceso el Editorcomunicara al Director(a) sobre las novedades del artículo y conjuntamente tomarán la decisión de publicar o no publicar el artículo.

PEER REVIEW

After the preliminary evaluation, if the article is positively evaluated, it enters a process of arbitration under the peer review system, in the Double-Blind modality. The evaluators are experts in the area of specialization. Based on the results of the article evaluations, the following criteria are considered:

- Not publishable if they coincide with the criteria of the Double-Blind peers, in case one of the evaluators reports "not publishable" the other report "publishable", a third reviewer is sought to proceed to issue a report that allows the Editorial Committee to make decisions.

- If the report of both referees has observations, corrections are sent to the author or authors through the OJS platform so that they can make the required changes within 15 working days.

- It must be corrected, and the process continues in order to verify if the observations made were complied with.

- The results of the arbitration will be final.

- If the article complies with the observations made, it is accepted for publication.

- Once accepted for publication, the author(s) will be notified through the OJS page and e-mail. An acceptance report will be prepared which will be published together with the article on the main page of the publication.

- Once this process has been completed, the Editor will communicate to the Director about the news of the article and together they will make the decision to publish or not to publish the article.

PROCESO DE PUBLICACIÓN

El artículo aprobado pasará a normas técnicas de revisión: redacción, estilo y gramática; traducción del inglés; palabras clave (código JEL); fecha de recepción del artículo y aceptación; Código Orcid; Creative Commons.

Una vez cumplido el proceso antes señalado se procede a maquetar y a diagramar el artículo y luego a su publicación en la página OJS de la revista Journal Business Science de la Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí

PUBLICATION PROCESS

The approved article will go through technical review standards: writing, style and grammar; English translation; key words (JEL code); date of receipt of the article and acceptance; Orcid Code; Creative Commons.

Once the aforementioned process is completed, the article will proceed to layout and diagramming and then to its publication in the OJS page of the Journal Business Science of the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí.

Política de acceso y reuso

Journal Business Science tiene la política de acceso abierto al conocimiento y se publica bajo licencia Creative Commons Ecuador 4.0. Los investigadores tienen acceso sin restricciones a los contenidos, los pueden descargar, imprimir, leer, citar, distribuir, citar o enlazar los textos. No cobra tarifa alguna por la publicación de las contribuciones.

Open access policy

Journal Business Science has a policy of open access to knowledge and is published under Creative Commons Ecuador 4.0 license. Researchers have unrestricted access to the contents, they can download, print, read, quote, distribute, cite or link the texts. It does not charge any fee for the publication of contributions.

Protocolo de interoperabilidad

Todas las publicaciones del Portal de Revistas de la Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí incorporan protocolos de interoperabilidad que permiten a sus contenidos ser recolectados por otros sistemas de distribución, como repositorios digitales y cosechadores (harvesters). Las revistas que se publican mediante OJS (Open Journals System 3.0.0) incorporan el protocolo de interoperabilidad OAI-PMH (Open Archive Initiative-Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) en la con la posibilidad de obtener diferentes formatos para los metadatos.

Interoperability protocol

All the publications of the Journals Portal of the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí incorporate interoperability protocols that allow their contents to be harvested by other distribution systems, such as digital repositories and harvesters. Journals published through OJS (Open Journals System 3.0.0) incorporate the OAI-PMH (Open Archive Initiative-Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) interoperability protocol in the with the possibility of obtaining different formats for metadata.

Conservation and Restoration of Documents

Presentar el artículo en soporte digital a través de la plataforma OJS. Adjuntar carta de originalidad en la que exprese claramente que los autores conocen y aceptan la política editorial de Journal Business Science y que no tienen conflictos de intereses (en lo comercial, propiedad intelectual, relevancia académica).

Los trabajos postulados para su publicación en JBS no podrán someterse a revisión en otra revista de manera simultánea. Los errores ortográficos y la omisión de las normas de publicación de esta revista serán causales para no admitirlos. Se aceptan trabajos en español, inglés y portugués.

La revista JBS es de distribución gratuita, no tiene cargos de envío de artículos, ni cargos de procesamiento de artículos. La revista no necesariamente comparte los criterios de los autores publicados.

El número máximo de autores por artículos son de cuatro integrantes.

Online submissions

Submit the article in digital format through the OJS platform. Attach a letter of originality clearly stating that the authors know and accept the editorial policy of Journal Business Science and that they have no conflicts of interest (commercial, intellectual property, academic relevance).

Papers submitted for publication in JBS may not be submitted simultaneously for review in another journal. Spelling errors and the omission of the publication rules of this journal will be grounds for not admitting them. Papers are accepted in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

The JBS journal is distributed free of charge, has no article submission charges, nor article processing charges. The journal does not necessarily share the criteria of the published authors.

The maximum number of authors per article is four.
